Majors: German Studies, International Business
Current Position: Lufthansa Group "Take-Off" Management Trainee | Ground Operations & Global Strategy

German Studies @ ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½: “I came into ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ knowing that I wanted to learn more about the German language, but I had originally intended on only being a minor. After a couple years I became thoroughly convinced that it would be in my best interest to switch to a major. This turned out to be one of my best decisions at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½. In switching to a major in German at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ I became a much better researcher, presenter, writer, and (most importantly) more comfortable German speaker. This confidence in speaking and presenting has already proved invaluable in my career, and I am certain will continue to do so.â€

Majors: Politics and Law, German
Current position: Student at University of Colorado Law School

German Studies @ ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½: “As a First Year I was confident I wasn't a "language person." German at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ made me confident I can learn languages, made me a stronger writer, and had an enormous impact on my career goals. I am about to start law school and hope to work with German based companies negotiating international contracts.â€

Major: German Studies
Current position: M&A Tax Attorney

German Studies @ ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½: "ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ gave me the opportunity to pursue my passion for the German language both in the classroom in Memphis as well as during my study abroad experience in Germany. I met my wife while studying abroad and still regularly use German in my job, so it is not an exaggeration to say that my experience as a German major at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ changed my life and has an impact every day."
