Our student-run chemistry club.

The ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society (SAACS) is an increasingly active club involved in bringing chemistry related activities to the ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ campus and the surrounding community.

Recently, we have been involved in outreach in local elementary, middle, and high schools. We bring chemistry demos to schools to teach children a little about chemistry, and we have been involved in science fair judging at the middle and high school levels.

SAACS has also sponsored a yearly Halloween flaming pumpkin contest, and in 2007, SAACS took over the organization of the yearly natural sciences picnic.
